NEDOX® layers are created during a multi step process on all metals and alloys. A hard DURNI-COAT® layer is created in combination with an impregnated polymer. This gives a surface layer with unique properties of both layers in one treatment: uniform layer thickness, hardness and the self lubricating ability.
NEDOX® layers are the basis for an extremely hard, smooth and self lubricating surface with great wear and corrosion resistance.
The different parameters, i.e. porosity, layer thickness, impregnation time, type of polymer etc, define the specific properties of the end layer.
Within the NEDOX® range there are several application possibilities most of which are suitable for application in the food industry.
