Within the AHC culture, innovation has always been a central pivot. Innovation is of the tmost importance for the continuity of the company.
To be able to realise this, AHC has started her own Technical Research Institute (T.R.I.).
This institute is a full research and development facility, populated by several sources of knowledge with a basis of over more than 30 years of experience and investigation. AHC has both chemical and material knowledge facilities (ICP-AES, microscopy, icon chromatography, etc.).
AHC works closely together with technical universities and other knowledge institutes in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The TRI advises also works very closely with customers in order to find the correct surface treatment system or process which complies with their specifications.
AHC finds the solution for the problems and contracts partnership with clients in order to be able to take into account the crucial production step in the design phase: the surface treatment. Unnecessary delays are being avoided and the customer can achieve a better product quality and deliver on a shorter basis.

AHC is also a pioneer in the area of environmental protection within the international galvanic world. AHC has made significant investments in water treatments and recycling making the Company a leader in the field
